Scope §13 asks us to track popular searches, unanswered searches, and engagement. The unanswered-search report is the valuable one — it is a direct feed of what customers want to know that the site does not yet answer, and it should drive the Learning Center editorial calendar.

2

Every question gets its own URL (/faq/what-are-site-costs). That is what makes FAQ content eligible for featured snippets and AI-search citation. A single page of 60 accordions ranks for approximately nothing.

Q4Answer format — built for AI citation

How every answer gets written

Not a style preference. AI answer engines retrieve and cite passages, not pages — they lift a chunk of text and attribute it. A chunk only survives that if it stands on its own, which most marketing copy does not, because marketing copy is written to be read top to bottom.

How long does it take to build a home on my own lot?

Building a Coastal Pointe home on land you already own typically takes 10 to 14 months from contract to closing, plus site work before construction starts.

Site work varies most with flood-zone elevation requirements, utility distance and county permitting times.

Answer to be supplied / verified by: Coastal Pointe — real numbers needed before publication

✗ Not citable

Timeline

It usually takes 10 to 14 months. As mentioned above, our process is designed to keep you informed at every stage.

Same information, unusable. "It" has no referent once the passage is lifted, "as mentioned above" points at nothing, "our process" does not name whose, and the heading does not match any question a person types.

4

Three rules, applied to every FAQ answer and every explanatory section on the site: head it with the question a real person types, answer it in the first sentence before any context or selling, and make it self-contained — no pronouns whose referent is in the previous section.

5

This page is also the site's highest-value structured data. A question-and-answer pair is already the shape an answer engine wants, so it can be lifted whole without inferring what question the passage answers. The FAQ schema cannot be emitted until real answers exist — schema must match visible content, and Siftr will not invent answers about your process, timelines or warranty. A unique URL per question is already in the sitemap for the same reason. See docs/AI-SEARCH.md.

6

Worth knowing: answering plainly is the same thing that converts. The highest-leverage answers are the uncomfortable ones every competitor buries — what site costs actually include, what happens if a build runs late, what the warranty does not cover. Those get cited and they earn trust.

"Ask a question" is a lead form wearing a helpful hat. It converts people who are not ready for "schedule a tour" but are actively researching — and it feeds the content pipeline for free.
